Stands for Accountability

Accountability: Upholding Our Foundational Promise

Accountability is the thread that weaves through the very fabric of our Constitution. It is not just a principle, but a promise—a promise that those who serve at every level of government, from city to federal, are answerable to the people they represent. This principle is embodied in the oath of office, a solemn vow to serve with both fidelity and faithfulness in upholding the Constitution of Utah and the United States of America, a pledge that I take with the utmost seriousness.

In the spirit of this constitutional covenant, I affirm my dedication to embody accountability in every action I take as a representative of Heber City. The Constitution, which articulates the allocation of power among the branches of government, inherently mandates accountability. As your representative, my commitment is to be a vigilant guardian of this balance, to ensure that our city operates within the scope of its authority and remains responsive to the needs of its residents.

The weight of this responsibility is not lost on me. I hold these words close: “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union…” This preamble is a reminder that our governance must strive for continual improvement and must always circle back to its core—the people.

My campaign signage across Heber City encapsulates my commitment to this ethos of Accountability. They are reminder to me and a declaration to you that my service is anchored in this fundamental tenet. By embracing accountability, I will safeguard the trust placed in me by the people of Heber City, and together we will ensure that our city not only thrives but does so with a moral compass that points true north.
